True Stories, Told In One Sentence
I find http://www.onesentence.org/ terriblly addictive. The site displays user generated stories, all told in one sentence. Some are hilariously amusing, others expose people’s naivety while some are downright heartbreaking. Here’s an example:-
One morning while training a new employee, I silently farted and she said “Mmm! Someone’s cooking bacon!”
It’s never like the movies…we pulled the plug and he took two hours to die.
“Kill myself” and “Kill it myself” have very different meanings and the typo earned me 30 hours of group therapy.

Tweetl - A custom made Twitter URL shortening. Check it out.
Tweetl. I’m pretty sure I remember running across this on Reddit earlier today and upon further inspection, I reckon it is pretty cool. This custom made Twitter URL shortening service is well worth a look. Tweetl offers you a URL shorter than what Tinyurl delivers with the added bonus of checking out other people’s random Tweetls and gathering statistics on the links you post with Tweetl URLs.
For example, if I use http://tweetl.com/2wg to point to this blog, I can then go to go to http://stats.tweetl.com/2wg and check out the stats from that link posted - either on Twitter or in a blog. Very, very handy in my books.
I recommend trolling through the site and checking out Tweetl’s Fun Page.
Upon further investigation I’m going to start using this service and work out a routine for pasting the links into my tweets - in fact, I’ve already added it to my Google Toolbar. How about you? Had a look at it? What are your thoughts? Are you going to use it?
