Hidden in Plain Sight: Brand Logo Secrets
We are all well accustomed to being bombarded on a daily basis to advertising - but have you ever stopped to actually notice or to think about the logos and their hidden meanings?
Federal Express: Wedged between the “E” and the “x” there is an arrow indicating that they move forward and deliver.

Jetstar: The arrow again!

Toblerone: If you look closely on the Matterhorn mountain on the Toblerone chocolate bar wrapping, you will see the swiss symbol of Bern (a Bear) incorporated into the mountain

Amazon.com: Has everything from A to Z and it also represents the smile brought to
the customer’s face.

Sun Microsystems: The word “SUN” on the left hand side of the picture below is an ambigram. Check it out. You can read “SUN” from either right-side or upside down.

Subaru: Subaru is the Japanese name for The Pleiades, an open cluster in the constellation of Taurus and is certainly the most obvious to the naked eye - hence the logo.

King of Hearts: Ever noticed that the King of Hearts is stabbing himself in the head with his sword? Or perhaps that the King of Hearts is the only King that does not have a mustache? Apparently, diamonds, clubs and spades are by association linked respectively with the corruption of wealth, war and death. In contrast, the heart as an organ is pure, open, undisguised - it does not wear artifice - hence the clean-shaven King of Hearts. Or perhaps he is waiting for his Queen to give him some “heirs”? Boom-tish!

That’s interesting. I wonder what other kinds of subliminal images are being used around us that we just don’t notice. Maybe even unintentional subliminal imagery.
Just so you know (the author, whoever you are) that the arrow in the FedEx logo was accidental. I heard the designer speak at my school. They didn’t even notice the arrow until someone else pointed it out, and if you ask me, a hidden arrow does not communicate anything if no one notices it.
According to this interview with the designer (Lindon Leader), he did in fact design the logo with the arrow in mind. Apparently, he had to specially design the font in order to get the effect.

Also, while it doesn’t communicate anything to people who don’t notice it, it doesn’t impact the effectiveness. Those who do notice just get an extra bonus.
actually the sun logo reads sun starting from any of the 4 corners.
as well as in a column over half the image.
The heart symbol on the card is a secret reference to a females back side in the act of mating. This is why it has a meaning of love.
Also check out the California adventure logo for Disney land within the redwood tree there is a open are in the shape of Mickey Mouse’s head.
Check out the logo for Mountain Mike’s Pizza. The word “sex” can be seen in the mountain.
STUMBLED!
Very nice, I didn’t noticed most of these.

since your from Melbourne you should also put the pancake parlor logo on there. The lady in their logo has a crucifix secretly layed into her fore head. Apparently the entire company is owned and run by the church of Scientology.

wow… this is all such crap…
whoever did this has way too much free time, and is way too obsessed with secrets and things… you don’t think fed ex just wrote their name, and that’s how it happened? where do you find that they purposely put an arrow in it to show that forward moving/thinking whatever bull?
anyway, it helped me pass the time while i was waiting for the terminator to load, so thanks!
and by the way, isn’t the king of hearts a card, not a logo?
the king of hearts still has a beard. i wouldn’t call that clean shaven.
Who thats really cool, I’ve never noticed any of those before.
Actually, the heart on the card (as well as the other suits) are references to tarot cards. Look it up.
ya, I like it. It’s amazing how many things we can miss even though they’re staring at us in the face daily.
don’t forget to look on the pack of camel cigarettes– on the hind leg of the camel you can see a little boy urinating. look close.
The Pleiades are also known as The Seven Sisters. Why then, are there only 6 stars in the Suburu logo?
The King of Hearts is also known as the “Suicide King,” maybe he represents depression.
The Chuppa Chupps logo was designed by Salvador Dali!
How are those hidden, and showing the true meaning? The Fedex and Jet ones are inconsequential, the Sun is obviously intended, thats the whole reason Subaru was named, obviously. The only interesting one is the Tobleron, but it’s Swiss anyway!
My anal cavit itches. Is there some subliminal message in that? Why yes there is. I have a stich in my snitch.
The Tolberone also looks like a fat lady eating a peice of food
And if you turn the card through 180 degrees have you noticed it looks exactly the same.
The best way to get this effect is to turn your monitor upside down while still looking at the screen then when complete you get a feeling of immense satisfaction.
Please do blog but be aware that you may be a little emo.
Dave
and maybe king of hearts is just holding a sword behind his head
